Rehab Road Trips: Smashing Stigma, Fear & Barriers to Addiction Treatment

#37:   When Dallas Miller and Jeremy Terrell met at a treatment center for substance use disorder, Dallas was starting treatment, and could not comprehend the cheerfulness that radiated from a smiling, tattooed, recovering-out-loud counselor who turned out to be Jeremy.  

Through treatment, community, and their eventual deep friendship, Jeremy found recovery, became a counselor himself (at the same rehab!), and a partnership was formed.  Today, the two are founders and CEO’s of Rehab Road Trips, a full-service media production company dedicated exclusively to the behavioral health space.  Through video, they capture authentic peeks into the treatment space; demystifying the services that have the potential to reduce suffering and save lives.

In this episode we discuss what that work looks like, why it is meaningful to Jeremy & Dallas in their own lives and recovery, and how they help others to find treatment even when it seems impossible.
