Vulnerability Hangovers: A Couch Conversation with Liz & Bryce The Third
#25: This week, Liz and Bryce The Third return for another 'couch conversation' — those intimate, casual chats that naturally happen when you're with someone you know and trust. Now, a couple hundred episodes in, they reflect on how much the show has evolved and how their friendship has grown along the way.
Liz opens up about her discomfort with couch conversations. She shares that she's often hesitant to take up space talking about herself and her recovery, only wanting to share when she knows her words will be of service. Yet, it's conversations like these that allow Liz to feel truly seen, a feeling she's had to work through over time. Despite the discomfort and a potential for rejection, there is value in showing up fully as yourself. Liz emphasizes that it is those moments and conversations where true connection and healing happen.
Tune in to hear from Bryce The Third and Liz as they explore the power of sharing and vulnerability and how these moments deepen relationships and remind us that were are never truly alone.
