Rediscovering Yourself…again? a chat with Liz & Bryce The Third

The Phoenix Sober Active Community Season 2 Episode 2

Send us a text

#2: This week Liz and Bryce sit down for a conversation exploring identity, their approaches to routines and life, and how non-linear this whole journey is. From working through anxiety to shaking up who we think we are, recovery gave both Liz and Bryce the space and time to evolve, question and grow. Check out the episode to dive into conversation on this and more, including:

  • Learning to enjoy the journey and not just focus on the end, something Liz is practicing while doing her graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
  • Methods Liz has learned to harness control over her anxiety, and how if she knows what's coming she can help herself out of it.
  • How sobriety allowed Bryce to evolve into someone new and gave him space to have a lot of restarts and softness.
  • How non-linear the whole process is - and Bryce and Liz are perfect examples of this.
