#13: Holly works in the recovery industry, is an active Phoenix member and volunteer, and is a person in recovery; but this is the first time she has told her story on a public platform. And we are so glad she did.
In active substance use, a life of sobriety seemed utterly impossible to Holly. She had more scary experiences than she could count, but continued to hide the severity of her addiction from her family for years and believed that she deserved this life. Today she has a very different outlook. Her simple but powerful words of affirmation might be just the message you or someone you love needs to hear today.
Today, Holly is proud of herself, and she's proud of you for being here. So are we.
